2 hours in London – Leticia and Fenisio
I was recently lucky to be given a chance to photograph an interesting couple, Leticia and Fenisio, at an attractive location – the old centre of medieval London. If you are wondering whether London can be a romantic backdrop to a couple in love, I hope my photos will convince you that, in spite of tons of business-style buildings and huge crowds, the answer to your question is still yes, yes it can.
London wedding photographer
I had a two hour walk through the centre of London to tell Leticia and Fenisio’s story. Leticia is originally from Croatia and Fenisio from Italy. They met in London, where they both live and work. This city is a special place for them, so it’s no surprise they wanted their photosession to be in the centre of the city that brought them together.
During a spontaneous walk through London, we visited the inner centre of the city and localities such as Tower Bridge, London Tower, St Paul’s Cathedral, London City Business Centre, Millennium Bridge and Tate Modern.
Leticia and Fenisio are both light-hearted, cheerful and open people. Their personalities helped shape the whole photosession into a fun and gleeful experience. I believe the photographs you are looking at reflect that amicability and blissfulness.
Unknown location and photosession surprises
A new location is a challenge for every photographer. For me, London was indeed a challenge, because this was my first visit. Photographer can’t plan ahead in situations like these. He has to make the best out of a spontaneous walk through new locations.
There were additional spontaneities during this session. First one was when Leticia and Fenisio happened to bump into their friends. I used that opportunity to capture their conversation. The second unpredicted moment was in the late afternoon. When the sun suddenly appeared, providing this magical town with a special, romantic glow. I gave my best to use every single moment of this warm and shiny surprise. Catching every sun ray that sporadically appeared from behind high business buildings.
Final impressions? The grey asphalt of an unknown city can be miraculous with the helpof a devoted photographer who tries his best to capture every moment and turn it into a memory. I hope I managed to capture this amazing city. But, even more importantly, I hope I captured a beautiful and special love story.
Dear Leticia and Fenisio, it was an honor to be your photographer. I wish for London to always be your magical city, and for you to always stay magical to each other.
